This course covers
optimization techniques and algorithms used in the design and
optimization of digital systems using Computer-Aided Design tools. The
course covers in details two and multiple level logic optimization
algorithms, mapping, placement, routing, and timing constraints in
Application Specific Integrated Circuits and in Field Programmable Gate
Arrays. The course will also cover the application of Artificial
Intelligence and Evolutionary Algorithms in digital circuits
optimization and design through current research papers and hands-on
implementations.
