PhD THESIS TITLE : "Evolutionary Methods for Designing Electronic Circuits and Systems"
My research focuses on developing new Artificial Intelligence techniques as optimization tools for analogue and mixed analogue/digital circuits design. The techniques used deal with multi level and multi constraints optimization problems. A technique involving Genetic Algorithms in the process of a low cost feasible region approximation was also developed to maximize manufacturing yield and increase robustness of the designs. Genetic Algorithms are search algorithms which depend on the evolutionary improvement in populations based on selection and reproduction based on fitness that is found in nature.
